I’m going to need a small army to get everything done today…

It’s the Friday before a long weekend and hopefully you are looking forward to a few days with your family and friends relaxing.  But if you are like me, instead you are spending today wondering how you are going to get everything you need to get done before you go home, so that you don’t come in on Tuesday already behind.  Sometimes a day off creates more stress than it relieves!

Its days like today that I wish I had a small army of people to help get all of that work done.

But are we getting a little caught up in our busyness?  Could I ask for help on this project?  Or maybe delegate those tasks?  It’s important to tap into the expertise of others when possible and necessary.  You don’t have to do it all by yourself!  I know sometimes it is hard to let someone else help; they may not work as fast as you and maybe they will take different steps than you to get to the end result.  But it’s worth it!  Try it out, and I bet you’ll agree.  We have a small army of people to help us get all of the work done – they are called co-workers.
