Tranise Parker honored as the 2018/2019 Strovis Character Counts Award Recipient for the Georgetown High School Track Team

Georgetown High School track team member, Tranise Parker was named as the recipient of the 2018-2019 Strovis Character Counts Award for the Georgetown High School girls track team.

The award was presented by Mrs. Tracy Mau, Strovis Holdings Chief Operating Officer at Georgetown High School on May 23, 2019.  A committee including track team coach, Mrs. Brenda Collins chose Ms. Parker for her dedication and commitment to her team that she displayed all during the year.  Mrs. Mau recognized Ms. Parker for her dedication and told her hold on to her dedication as it will carry her far in her life and future career.  Ms. Parker is rising Senior at Georgetown High School.

Ms. Parker is one of 18 student-athletes who have been honored as a Strovis Character Counts award winner for the school year.  She was presented with a certificate as well as a $50 gift card by Mrs. Mau. Also present was Georgetown High School Booster Club President, Jessica Sasser.

The Strovis Character Counts program honors student-athletes who excel in their chosen sport, as well as in life. Students who hold strong character traits are selected for the award. They are nominated by members of the coaching staff.

Strovis partnered with the Georgetown High School Bulldogs Athletic Booster Club to create the awards program in the fall of 2017. The Booster Club remains a co-sponsor for the 2018-2019 school year.
